The Rest of the Quartzsite Story

In response to the thousands of requests I have gotten to address the 'rest of the story,' I have compiled this site to provide additional insight into this situation.

Every effort [on the part of town officials] has been made to convince onlookers that this isn't what it looks like. Very few people have accepted their version of events. There's actually a reason for that. If you look past 'the front page' there can be no doubt that this situation is what it is for a reason.

Since the video that went viral, and the allegations of the Quartzsite 10 there is other information trickling from the Mineshaft that will clarify these issues further.

Walk with me and see if you can figure out where the bones are buried.

• Stewart Rhodes is a Yale educated, award winning attorney. It was Stewart Rhodes that stepped up to become the attorney for myself and Jennifer Jones.
  
  
  
• It's imperative that videos such as this find their way into the public forum  to show what is happening in places such as this. There is a lot of propaganda being circulated which, of course, is to be expected. It is up to each of us to dig for the truth.

THE TIMELINE

Quartzsite has a lengthy history of corruption.

Is there a feud? No.

There was -- nearly 20 years ago -- a disagreement between the founding Mayor and another man who was ultimately convicted of attempting to hire a killer to take Oldham out of the picture. The conspiracy to kill Oldham netted Quartzsite national media attention, even though the story broke the same weekend as the O.J. Simpson story: June 1994.

Byrd was later released from prison and has since died. [December 2001.] This widely publicized story has been used by the council and several other officials in Quartzsite to convince people that there's no lawlessness happening today -- but just echoes of a long ago 'feud' that keep reappearing on the scene.

The truth is that this 'story' is simply the 'approved method' of muddying the water in the hope that you won't dig any deeper.
